Who is my photographer?
The photographer for your event is Josh Perkins. Josh has been photographying for years, obtaining his first 35mm film camera in High School. His mother was a photographer and so naturally Josh's interests in photography started at a young age.
Elizabeth attends most weddings and some events as an assistant.
What equipment do you use?
Canon professional digital cameras along with a slew of high-end Canon lenses, flashes, wireless transmitters and other gear. We use only the best because quality is the one of the most important aspects of our business.
How would you describe your style?
Stylistically, we lean towards a photojournalistic / fine-art approach. We want to capture images naturally and that reflect you and your personality. No cheesy poses we promise. Our goal at every wedding we shoot is to document your wedding so that browsing through your wedding album is like re-living the experience and not looking at a bunch of tacky, all-smiling shots.
How can my photos look great?
We provide the skill, talent, expertise and professional gear, but you ultimately make the picture. We encourage all our clients to relax, have fun, enjoy the moments, be in love with your bride or groom and leave the rest to us.
Can I see your latest images?
Yes! We have an updated photography blog on this site for this purpose. In the lower right hand corner of our home page, just click on any of the recent blog posts to see our latest favorite images, or go directly to the blog homepage.
Do you require a deposit?
Regardless of the package you chose, we do require a non-refundable deposit for weddings and full payment up front for seniors & family portraits.
What kind of album choices will I have?
The choices are practically limitless! Some of it depends on which package you sign up for. Options include leather, fabric, recessed images, custom redtree albums, magazine style layouts, etc. When we meet with you for your free consultation, we will go over all our album options. What are your prices, and what is included?
Please contact us for a list of our prices. You can either sign up for one of our packages, or you can purchase your photography a la carte.
Do you color correct & retouch photos?
All photos are color corrected and enhanced to look their best. Photos that are purchased through our online ordering website are given extra special attention. By that, we mean we retouch blemishes and provide artsy effects & color toning (b/w, sepia, etc). Examples of these kinds of photos can be found on our blog.
